Game Overview

In this abstract detective game, you find yourself in a world ravaged by mankind's use of pesticides, and your brother is guilty. Help him piece together the fate of his colleagues, and potentially uncover the truth behind the newest pesticide on the market. 

There are no straight answers, and you won't be spoon fed anything. It's up to you to draw your own conclusions about what has happened.

Bousier is what you get from combining Kafka and Silent Spring. In a nutshell,  a short mystery/horror game about humanity's rejection of the natural order.

Tips

This is a harder "murder mystery" game. Playtime can vary anywhere between 30 minutes to two hours. If you're feeling stuck try to lookup more things on the computer. It's not just a dictionary, it also contains diary entries. Remember that you won't get your answers confirmed until you have guessed all three fates correctly. There are several correct answers. 

To uncover more of the story you may lookup words that are not underlined, in fact, I encourage you to do so as it can also lead you to the correct conclusions regarding the fates of the characters. and find out additional "lore" about the universe. 

Known issues

I made 100% of the models by myself and about 90% of the audio, so please excuse some jank here and there. This is a graduation project and the current version may be updated in the future, if I choose to work on it on my own time. Some major known issues that currently exist are:

• Dither effect looks weird on 4k monitors
• Lighting weird sometimes
• Zfighting in some places
• If you move too fast while looking at a note you can't get out by pressing E (press ESC instead to get out)

Future

There are a lot of things I wanted to include but couldn't because time restrictions (one big thing is a longer ending!). So the version you play now may or may not be significantly changed in the future.
